Why?

Bauerour began as an idea. What interests me? What do I like to do? What is my passion? I think one area of life I have found success in is my ability to listen and relate to those around me. I’ve always enjoyed talking with friends and family about tough subjects and in 2022, I began recording a lot of those conversations and sharing them with the world… and people listened… and people continue to listen to this day. It’s so cool, people are interested in the stories of your everyday Joe. It’s real, it’s authentic, it’s candid, and it’s been so impactful for so many people.

One topic I touch on often is that I think we over consume social media and I think it is a much larger problem than anyone has any idea of. I want to help and show people that there is more to life than looking down at your phone. Covid was hard, and what it did was amplify our addictions. Many people had nothing to do, so they consumed, and consumed, and consumed some more…. and people lost touch with one another. People forgot that there is meaning to seeing each other in person, rather than through a screen. For a lot of people, we lost our ability to have conversation. I want to encourage tough conversations, I want people to learn how to converse again, I want people to get out of their comfort zone and understand that we are all in life together. I want the listeners to feel like they are in the room, to feel the emotion in the guests voice.

I think we are all unique and interesting and it fascinates me talking with people and trying to find what makes them unique. My whole life, I always wanted to own my own business. I enjoy being on my own time and tapping into my creative side. That’s what this platform does for me. I want to turn a hobby into something more and I want to help. Help anyone and everyone with whatever they need help with because together, we can accomplish anything.
